During PE lesson tdy, we were given a briefing on the coming cohort camp by our camp instructor and also taught how to pitch a tent.
Our 4-day/3-night overseas cohort camp will be held at Institute of Haiwan, Kluang, Johor which according to the instructor is also known as Institute of ANIMALS(?)!
He told us that is a place where the vets do their research on animals and there'll be horses, rabbits, blahblahblah. Lols.
And getting scratched by jungle cats and bitten by snakes are pretty common. OMG! No joke man!
A scratch by the jungle cat will caused the victim to be immobilised for 5 seconds so that means you cannot even shout for help. So scary sia.
We were told not to panick and to take note of the colour of the snake should we get bitten by one.
Reason is being panicky will cause the heart to beat faster and the poison will also travel faster.
How to???? We sure scream one lor. Lols.
Oh ya, we also have to bear with bees, mosquitoes, ants......
And we'll be staying in tents for 4 DAYS!
The activites listed in the programme itinerary sound interesting though.....kayaking, hiking, team building games etc.
Hope everyone will have an enjoyable time there!
What if.....you unzip your tent one morning and come face-to-face with a horse? Ahahahahaha.
After school, stayed back at prefects room to do the Valentine's Day thingy for tmr.
Hehe...I did the notices.
We will be selling some titbits outside the canteen during recess time.
