Erm....let me relate an unpleasant experience I had yesterday.
Well, my granny came over to our place and we decided to have lunch at lot 1. There's this new restaurant called ????(lol can't rmb the name la) and we decided to try it out. When we reached there, the restaurant was packed and all the tables were occupied. A waiter at the entrance took down our reservations and told us to wait outside. As we waited, the queue grew longer. This waiter, who was supposed to look out for empty tables, was blur like sotong (not referring to Ming Tak ar). He did not even see customers leaving the place. So what happened was those who arrived later and did not make reservations just walked in and occupied the vacated tables. And we were like so stupid queueing outside. Then my mum saw an empty table and pointed it out to the waiter. Before he could walk over to the table, a family walked in and just sat down. He then told them that the table was reserved for those queueing and this family started to talk very loudly. They were saying that it's not as though they are not paying and the waiter made them 'lose face'. LOL so we are not paying la? It was quite a commotion lorz. Finally the manager came out to pacify them and they left without eating. These people are really RUDE, making a mountain out of a mole hill.
Now, the story of the food.
My mum ordered dry wantan noodles and the waitress served the plate of noodles with only a pair of chopsticks. No spoon, no soup, no sauce.When my mum asked for chilli sauce for the noodles, she was told to take herself. So, my mum went to the cutleries counter to get a spoon and when she asked a staff member for chilli sauce, the answer was 'mei you' or 'don't have'.Huh??? My mum returned to our table and discovered that her noodles had become a lump of 'kuih'. Yucks. HOW TO EAT? So she asked the waitress for a bowl of soup (which is normally served with dry noodles) and chilli sauce AGAIN.
ANSWER : SOUP - SORRY FORGOT TO SERVE. CHILLI SAUCE - OUT OF STOCK
OMG!!! What kind of a restaurant is this?
And my bowl of century egg porridge sux. I think my mum cooks even better than them.
Anyway, I don't think I will ever step into this restaurant again.
And it will take years to place an order because the cashier is like forever chit chatting with her colleagues. Haiz.
Yes, the restaurant was packed and business was obviously good yesterday but they did not realise the number of customers they have lost. Well at least 4.
Time to go for ballet class now.
Buaiis. =)
